Anke-Eve Goldmann was a journalist for Cycle World, Das Motorrad in Germany, Moto Revue in France and other international motorcycle magazines. She was a female racer in the 50's and 60's who had a passion for speed and high performance motorcycles. A motorcycle riding school teacher, and by the late 50's became a popular spokesperson for BMW. 

In 1958, she helped found the Women's International Motorcycle Association in Europe.
She gave up motorcycling after the death of a close friend.
